The Prodigals Return

Back in Texas now, with the boat in South Carolina, we took the day to drive up to our Yacht Club and marina at Lake Texoma, to see if any old friends were about and attend a photography seminar at the Yacht Club. Our Lucky day! We caught up with several old friends we hadn't seen since our cruising started 4 years ago and won a video camera at the seminar!

After the seminar, we had lunch at Pelicans Landing, the marina restaurant, built in 2008, after a disastrous flood wiped out the old restaurant. Met someone there who had also sailed from Key West in May/June to the Bahamas. We exchanged boat cards and promised to keep a lookout for each  other in the future.
