February Wreckers Race

Another Race, another story. Low winds are not the favorite for Wind Dancer and winds of 5-7 were what we had for the February race. So we flew our code zero, looking pretty good.

That's us on the far right. Looks as if we are in the lead, but we finished third in our class as the winds continued to weaken. Good enough for a Wreckers Race tin cup and a free "Pain Killer" at Schooners Wharf". While underway, we had a close encounter with one of the schooners, the Jolly Rover.

We also encountered another boat, which was trying to make due in the light air with galley slaves, but then again, there are no rules in this race.
