About Me
- Name: Wind Dancer Cruises
- Location: On the Water, Coastal U.S.
We bought our first boat in 1973, a Venture 23 trailerable boat that we sailed on for several years. After a 20 year hiatus, we moved to Texas and bought a Hunter 33, which we raced and gunkholed for 5 years on Lake Texoma, where we still maintain our Yacht Club Membership. In May, we bought our retirement boat, Wind Dancer, a Beneteau 42 and have embarqued on another adventure. In addition to our own boat, we have chartered bareboat cruises on Lake Michigan, Rick has raced in the Chicago to Mackinac race twice, and we have sailed on a 65 foot boat from San Francisco to Newport Beach, California and a two week adventure with 9 family members on a 50 foot boat in the BVI. Since 2008, we have been sailing aboard Wind Dancer from Pensacola to the Chesapeake and over toi the Bahamas.
